Game

Devlog: your reputation is what you did

Five traits, earned by action

Every lord in Age of Medieval has a character, described by five traits: honour, valour, mercy, generosity and calculation. Each runs from a bad name to a good one, from Treacherous to Honourable, from Coward to Fearless.

You do not pick yours at the start. You begin with no reputation and earn one. Keep a promise and honour rises; break one and it falls further. Release prisoners and you are called merciful. Share the spoils and you are generous. Raid a caravan and people remember. Win a battle badly outnumbered and you are brave.

When your name changes, the game tells you, and it has consequences. Lords who share your trait think better of you. Those who do not, think worse.

Character also changes how the other lords behave in the field. A brave one stays in a fight longer and hunts with less advantage. A calculating one does the opposite.

Age of Medieval is developed by UnderStudio in UnderStudio 2D and published by Brasa Interactive. It releases on 17 May 2027.
