Roadmap
What is already in the game, what is ahead, and the road to Steam. Months, not days: exact dates go up once they are certain.
What is in the game today
Everything below already runs in the game, in development, and is where the site's screenshots come from.
- Founder start. A hero, four families and a wagon of supplies. No land, no king. You pick the spot and found the village.
- Piece-by-piece builder. Houses, streets, food, production, trade, services and defences, all from one palette. A ghost shows where it fits; rotate, variant, demolish. The palisade is drawn as a line.
- Living market, roads and routes. Demand comes from the people. Roads are built stretch by stretch, and no road means no route. Caravan routes with stops, what goes and what comes back.
- Trade diplomacy. A trade deal lowers the tariff; an embargo closes the stalls and the routes without a war. The other Houses sign and embargo on their own.
- Forge by parts. Blade, guard, grip and pommel; the weapon takes the name you give it; refine it as the smith learns.
- Real-time battles and sieges. Orders to groups and formations, morale, flanking. The siege happens inside the village plan: the ram hits the gate you placed.
- Dynasty. Marriage, heir, succession. When the lord dies, the heir keeps the village, the troops and the enemies.
- Save and load. The campaign has save slots and autosave. A battle in progress is not saved: the game keeps a save from just before each fight.
