Devlog: four seasons, and each one collects

What the calendar asks of a village and of an army

The date at the top of the screen in Age of Medieval is not flavour. The season decides what your village is doing and what your neighbours are planning.

Spring is when fields are planted and when armies take the road again. Summer is the long working season: building, mining, trading while the roads are easy.

Autumn is the harvest, and the one moment when the granary fills. What is stored then is what the village has until the next one. The game warns you before winter if the stock looks short, and a village that can pay may buy food from a market while there is still time.

Winter collects. Houses burn firewood every day, the map turns white, and a village without wood or grain loses people. Plan a siege with the calendar in hand: a garrison that goes into winter hungry gives up sooner, and so does a camp outside the wall.

Age of Medieval is developed by UnderStudio in UnderStudio 2D and published by Brasa Interactive. It releases on 17 May 2027.
