Made in Brazil, written in two languages from day one
Why Brazilian Portuguese is a reference text here, not a translation
Brasa Interactive and UnderStudio are both Brazilian. That shows in one detail of Age of Medieval that players in Brazil will notice at once.
Most games reach Brazil as a translation, sometimes a good one. Here Brazilian Portuguese is one of the two reference texts. The game was written in it, the English is written by the same team, and every other language is produced from that pair.
The same is true of this page and the game's: every post goes out in English and in Portuguese, written twice instead of passed through a machine.
It is a small thing to say and a large amount of work to keep up. We do it because a strategy game is read as much as it is played, and because we would like players at home to feel it was made for them first.
Age of Medieval is developed by UnderStudio in UnderStudio 2D and published by Brasa Interactive. It releases on 17 May 2027.
