Devlog: what went into the game this autumn
Building sites, living sieges, character, a rebuilt market
The year is nearly over, so here is an inventory. Everything on this list is in the game today and was not there when we announced it in September.
In the village: building sites worked by your people, a work panel for every trade, tools that wear out in the hands that use them.
At war: siege engines as units you can see and destroy, walls with health and breaches that can be repaired, villagers who ring the bell and take shelter, militia, fire and bucket lines, sorties and terms of surrender.
In the world: lords with a character earned by what they do, their bastard children on the roads, landless companies that found villages of their own, heirs that are named and pretenders that are passed over, and a market where demand is counted from real spending.
Each of these has had or will have its own post. In January we go back to one system at a time.
