Eighteen languages and no stray sentence
A check that refuses text the translators never saw
The interface of Age of Medieval ships in 18 languages. The game is written in Portuguese first, and that is exactly where the risk lives: a new warning typed in a hurry shows up in Portuguese in the middle of a German campaign.
So no sentence is allowed to reach the screen directly. Every one goes through the translation table, and an automated check reads the source for text that skipped it. A raw sentence fails the check, and a failed check stops the build.
A second check opens the game in each language and looks for the classic damage: a label cut off by its button, a number glued to the wrong word, a line that is still in the wrong language.
It will not make the translations perfect. If you see a phrase that sounds wrong in your language, tell us in the discussions and name the screen. Those reports are quick to fix and we are glad to get them.
Age of Medieval is developed by UnderStudio in UnderStudio 2D and published by Brasa Interactive. It releases on 17 May 2027.
